Ghost of Tsushima was finally shown off in a real way during it’s own State of Play this week, giving Sony’s digital showcase show a new identity and a new bar of what to expect in future iterations.

Our Take

This State of Play is exactly what Sony needed to give their digital showcase show meaning and not just some copy of Nintendo’s Directs.  Ghost of Tsushima went from off my radar completely to one of my most anticipated games of the year based solely on this event.  Sucker Punch has made their case to stand next to Guerrilla, Sony Santa Monica, and Naughty Dog as one of Sony’s elite studios, and I can’t wait to play it on July 17th.
