Are you ready for another version of GTA V?

In an announcement that everybody saw coming, Rockstar has announced a November 11 release date for the Series X|S and PlayStation 5 version of Grand Theft Auto V. Fun fact: this date is one week shy of the game’s first re-release on the “then current” gen systems.

“The expanded and enhanced versions of Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online are arriving on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S with new features and more,” Rockstar said about the latest version of the re-release.

Additionally, all PS5 owners will be able to download – for the first three months – GTA Online, a standalone version of the online component found in GTA V. Currently at the time of writing there is no price for the standalone online component after the three months, nor if it will have a Series X|S release.

If that isn’t enticing enough for PlayStation owners; Rockstar is offering those with a PS Plus subscription a bonus $1,000,000 GTA Bucks every month till the release of GTA V’s current gen version.

Rockstar has also teased some upcoming content centred on GTA III’s 20th anniversary and in their words. “Plus, in honour of the upcoming 20th anniversary of the genre defining Grand Theft Auto III, we’ll have even more fun surprises to share — including some specifically for GTA Online players.” Could this mean a remaster of III or even a collection? I guess we won’t know till later in the year. And for those hoping to hear more about GTA VI may have to wait for the next console release as GTA V doesn’t seem to be slowing down.

What does everyone else think about the rerelease of GTA V? Will you be buying it again, happy with the current version or have no intention to ever buy it? Sound of in the comments below or on our Discord!
